WW - Illinois Standish, Model 651, manual wind, 27mm x 35mm to lug tips, 15mm lug width, original rose gold-filled snap back case, vintage brown alligator strap, refinished white dial with applied gold numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9, 15J, s#5039635, triple signed. An incredibly hard to find model, especially in rose gold-filled; in Fredric Friedberg's book on Illinois wristwatches this model is listed as 6 stars for rarity on par with the famed Picadilly.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to steelwork; fine refinished dial retains some of its original enamel painted details, original blued steel skeleton hands are missing most of their luminous material; polished case shows medium wear, lines of base metal on high wear corners of case back, several small dings on case back; crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal.
